About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will support residents with daily living tasks such as cooking, attending appointments, medication management, and budgeting. You will encourage and assist our residents in re-learning life skills and developing new ones, all in a safe and supportive environment.

You’ll celebrate every small step toward independence and mental health recovery, while also supporting residents through difficult times. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll work alongside colleagues to ensure that our residents live full, active, and independent lives.

Main Responsibilities

• Support service users with day-to-day activities, such as budgeting, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
• Assist with grocery shopping, attending appointments, and taking prescribed medication.
• Encourage residents to engage in their local community, try new activities, and explore leisure facilities.
• Regularly review support plans to ensure they reflect residents' needs and aspirations.
• Work positively with your team and adhere to all policies, including confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Keep accurate, person-centred records and escalate concerns as necessary.

• Willingness to work a rotational shift pattern, including waking nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
