We are seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Assistant to join our team at our Central Office in Eccles, Manchester. About the Role
As a Recruitment & Onboarding Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for recruitment activities, ensuring a seamless hiring process and maintaining safe staffing levels. You will work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient recruitment service that supports the overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job advertising, application screening, interview coordination, and job offers.
- Conduct Right to Work, employment gap analysis, DBS checks, and obtain references for new hires.
- Coordinate recruitment events, liaising with hiring managers and marketing to promote opportunities effectively.
- Maintain and update recruitment and onboarding trackers, including People HR.
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and conduct personnel file audits.
- Maintain headcount levels and develop a strong candidate pipeline.
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience by responding to enquiries and keeping applicants informed.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective resourcing strategies.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new starters.
- Order IT and mobile equipment for new employees to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an admin/recruitment role .
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
