Service Manager – Lead with Purpose in Mental Health Care 🌟

Salary: £42,500 + excellent bens

We are expanding and currently seeking exceptional Service Managers to lead our mental health services in Bradford, Chester, and Barrow. Whether you’re a managing nurse, social worker who has led teams, or a leader from substance misuse services, if you've successfully managed teams and services in mental health, you could be the leader we're looking for.
💼 About the Role
As a Service Manager, you’ll take ownership of the strategic direction and day-to-day running of our specialist mental health services. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and person-centred environment—supporting adults living with complex mental health needs.
🔑 What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead with Impact: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
- Deliver Clinical & Operational Excellence: Oversee care planning, admissions, discharges, and assessments while ensuring a focus on recovery and respect.
- Ensure Compliance & Quality: Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and all relevant legislation.
- Drive Results: Balance effective care delivery with operational and financial performance.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with families, local authorities, NHS partners, and wider stakeholders.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Substantial people management experience within mental health, drug & alcohol services, or other regulated care settings.
- Background as a managing nurse, social worker, or similar role with experience in regulated services.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
- Strong, values-led leadership approach with excellent team-building and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership (or willingness to complete).
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
