š” Why Moss Lodge?
The service supports up to 18 adults with mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities in their own ensuite rooms, alongside welcoming communal kitchens, comfortable lounge areas, activity spaces and a private garden. Situated close to Rochdale town centre, the service gives the people we support easy access to local amenities while providing a safe, recovery-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
This isn't a job where every day looks the sameāand that's what makes it rewarding.
You'll support people to build confidence, develop independence and achieve goals that are meaningful to them.
Your day could include:
Supporting someone to cook their favourite meal for the first time.
Helping people manage appointments, medication and daily routines.
Encouraging community activities, education or employment opportunities.
Building confidence through everyday conversations and encouragement.
Supporting budgeting, shopping and household tasks.
Working alongside colleagues to deliver person-centred support plans.
Recording progress and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small.
As our services continue to evolve to meet people's needs, there may also be occasions where personal care support is required. Full training and guidance will always be provided.

Previous experience in care or a Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification is desirable, but experience supporting a family member or friend is equally valued.
