🌟 What Will You Be Doing?
No two days are the same. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to provide person-centred support that helps people live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.
Your responsibilities may include:
Promoting independence: Helping people develop everyday living skills and confidence in their abilities.
Supporting daily routines: Assisting with cooking, meal preparation, budgeting, household tasks and personal organisation.
Encouraging wellbeing: Supporting people with medication, appointments and healthy routines in line with their support plans and training.
Building connections: Helping people access local activities, maintain relationships and feel part of their community.
Providing emotional support: Listening without judgement, offering reassurance and helping people work through challenges.
Supporting recovery goals: Encouraging people to recognise their strengths, celebrate progress and take positive steps towards greater independence.
Working as a team: Communicating effectively with colleagues and other professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support.
Maintaining accurate records: Recording information and sharing updates to support safe and effective care.
As this role is predominantly waking nights, you’ll also play an important part in maintaining a safe, reassuring and supportive environment overnight, while remaining flexible to support day shifts when required.
The most rewarding part of the role? Seeing someone achieve something they once thought was out of reach — and knowing you played a part in helping them get there.
